Most Bangladeshi stores do not have a traffic problem. They have a leak problem. Traffic arrives, and revenue does not follow, because something between the ad click and the confirmed order is broken.
Here is where the money actually leaks, in the order we usually fix it.
Leak 1: Your tracking is lying to you
Before touching a campaign, we rebuild tracking. On most accounts we audit, reported purchases differ from actual orders by twenty to forty percent.
The fixes:
- Install the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API. Browser-only tracking loses a large share of events.
- Track the payment callback, not the thank-you page. On bKash and SSLCommerz, customers often close the tab before redirect.
- Verify against your order table for a full week before trusting any number.
If your ROAS is calculated from wrong data, every decision after it is wrong too.
Leak 2: Your store is too slow on 4G
Your customer is on a mid-range Android on mobile data. A theme that loads in eleven seconds loses most of them before they see a product.
Target largest contentful paint under 2.5 seconds on a throttled 4G connection. Compress images, drop the sliders, and cut plugins you are not using.
Leak 3: Checkout asks for too much
Every extra field costs you orders. For a Bangladeshi store the minimum viable checkout is name, phone, address, and payment method.
Offer cash on delivery even if you hate it. It is still how a large share of the market buys, and refusing it does not convert those customers, it loses them.
Leak 4: One creative, running for six weeks
Creative fatigue is the most common cause of a slowly dying ad account. The fix is a system, not a burst of inspiration:
- Ship a fresh batch of creatives every two weeks.
- Test one variable at a time — hook, format, offer.
- Kill anything below your threshold after enough spend to be sure.
- Keep a library of winning hooks and re-cut them.
Leak 5: No retention
Acquiring a new customer costs several times more than selling to an existing one. Most stores we meet have no post-purchase flow at all.
Start with three: an abandoned cart sequence, a post-delivery review request, and a replenishment or cross-sell message timed to the natural cycle of the product.
The order matters
Fix tracking, then speed, then checkout, then creative, then retention. Doing creative first on a broken funnel just buys you more expensive data.
